  1. I read the article above. The US has to do a better job when it comes to our schools and education. I don't understand why these rich ppl that have money, yet won't invest into building better schools for our childern who are the future. One thing I can say about Cincinnati is, they will spend money building new and better schools. If they cannot renovate they will build a new one. They have built over a dozen new schools here in Cincy over the past four years. If our kids do not have sufficient schools and necessities, how do they expect the students to want to learn. Especially when there is no air/heat,no sufficient books, food, etc. Not to mention efficient teachers. We are suppose to be one of the riches countries. They need to do better not only in NY but throughout the country when it comes down to our school buildings and education.

  2. In addition, I like to give credit where credit is due. On the Memphis Grizzlies # 32, OJ Mayo, he is from Cincinnati, Ohio. He played basketball at his high school, North College Hill. He came back to Cincy and gave over a million dollars to build a new high school. They just finished NCH high school in 2010. He's a perfect example of what I stated earlier. If more ppl who have the funds, give back, I believe this would make a huge difference in our children. They would know that someone truly cares about their education.
